Maremma offers culinary traditions linked to genuine cuisine, made of ancient flavours and simple ingredients.

Acquacotta, pappardelle with hare-meat sauce, tortelli stuffed with chard and ricotta and seasoned with meat sauces are just some of the infinite recipes that have been handed down for generations. Not to forget the prestigious extra virgin olive oil and wines.

Among the most important “wine itenery” of the Maremma we recommend the following:
“Colli di Maremma” travelling through thirteen municipalities such as: Campagnatico, Capalbio, Grosseto, Giglio Island, Magliano in Toscana, Manciano, Monte Argentario, Orbetello, Pitigliano, Roccalbegna, Scansano, Semproniano.
Along this road we find the Morellino di Scansano D.O.C.G. and four D.O.C. wines as Ansonica dell’Argentario, Bianco di Pitigliano, Capalbio, Parrina and Sovana.

“Monteregio-Massa Marittima – D.O.C”, travelling through eight municipalities such us: Massa Marittima, Monterotondo, Montieri, Follonica, Scarlino, Gavorrano, Roccastrada e Castiglione della Pescaia.

“Montecucco” stands out for the original wine flavors and travels through ten municipalities such us: Arcidosso, Campagnatico, Castel del Piano, Castell’Azzara, Cinigiano, Civitella Paganico, Roccalbegna, Santa Fiora, Seggiano e Semproniano.
