The historical city center is enclosed by completely intact and beautifully preserved medieval walls; where it is certainly worth visiting the beautiful Piazza del Duomo, on which the remarkable facade in white and pink marble stands out of the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, of the late Middle Age.
